A direct line to your agent.

Walkie One is hardware that connects to the AI agents people already use. It provides a dedicated two-way voice connection and does not provide a separate AI service.

Walkie One primary lockup
Internal idea
Coordinator, not commander.

The person using Walkie One is the coordinator. AI agents do work on their behalf. Walkie One is the direct line between them.

Audience

Start with people already using AI agents and early adopters. Expect those groups to introduce the product to people around them.

Primary

Start with people already using AI agents and early adopters.

People who already use AI agents and want dedicated voice access.

General early adopters interested in a physical interface for AI agents.

Secondary

Reach people through the primary audience’s personal and professional networks.

People introduced to Walkie One by existing agent users and early adopters in their personal or professional networks.

Voice and copy

Direct and friendly. Explain the product without trying to define everything AI can do.

Use

  • Use short sentences and everyday words.
  • Describe the hardware and the connection it provides.
  • Use “your” when ownership of the AI agents matters.
  • State what is known. Mark unresolved information as working or TBD.

Avoid

  • Dramatic or lifestyle-driven claims.
  • Militaristic, commanding, or masculine language.
  • Lists of everything AI might be able to do.
  • Language that implies Walkie One provides its own AI service.

Copy examples

The preferred examples say exactly what the product is doing. The rejected examples add drama without adding information.

  • Command your digital life.
  • Built for the way life moves.
  • Turn up the signal when it matters.
  • Unleash the power of AI.

Logo system

The wordmark is fixed. The orb may become expressive when the placement is secondary or intentionally creative.

Wordmark

  • Use the supplied wordmark artwork.
  • Keep WALKIE ONE straight and horizontal.
  • Do not retype, rotate, skew, animate, or distort it.
  • Keep the wordmark neutral when paired with an expressive orb.

Expressive orb

The orb may change in secondary, editorial, campaign, social, and motion contexts. The broadcast treatment is one available expression, not the default logo.

Input / Press to talk

  • Use IBM Plex Sans for headings, body copy, navigation, and interface text.
  • Use IBM Plex Mono for labels, specifications, statuses, filenames, and metadata.
  • Use weights 400 and 500 by default. Use 600 only when hierarchy requires it.
  • Do not use a serif or italic accent typeface in the current system.

The approved wordmark remains the supplied custom Inter-based artwork. Supporting typography does not change the logo.

Web design

Soft hardware precision: structured, clear, and slightly rounded. Use the same system in light and dark modes.

Customer-facing websites are built with Shadcn Blocks.

Use the authenticated paid Shadcn Blocks registry for every customer-facing website and for this design system.

Paid registry required

Registry workflow

01

Authenticate

Authenticate the paid registry before searching so Pro results are included.

02

Search

Search for a block for the full section and for its smaller interaction or content pattern.

03

Install

Inspect the selected source and install it with the exact command returned by the Shadcn MCP.

04

Record

Keep the named component, adapt it to Walkie One, and record its provenance.

Paid access
Use the registry for the small details too.
  • Store SHADCNBLOCKS_API_KEY only in the local .env.local file. Never commit or print the key.
  • Keep the Authorization header in components.json so the CLI can access Pro blocks.
  • Search the paid @shadcnblocks registry before designing every section, card pattern, comparison, gallery, timeline, download area, navigation pattern, and interaction.
  • Prefer a suitable Pro block. Use a free block only when it is the closer structural fit.
  • Get the exact add command from the Shadcn MCP, install the item, and keep its source as a named reusable component.
  • Adapt copy, assets, tokens, and accessibility. Do not replace the installed structure with unrelated hand-built markup.
  • Record every installed block and its role in this document and in DESIGN_SYSTEM.md.

  • Use Shadcn Blocks as the default source for every customer-facing section and pattern.
  • Use structured grids, moderate rounding, quiet borders, and restrained shadows.
  • Borrow softness and material cues from the physical product without making the interface bubbly.
  • Support light and dark modes with one user-controlled toggle.
  • Start in dark mode and remember the visitor’s choice.
  • Check every customer-facing component in both modes.

Motion

Use different levels of motion based on context. Keep everyday states clear and reserve broader expression for selected placements.

Use the full motion range when the context supports it. Everyday interface motion should remain functional; expressive orb motion is available for selected moments.

Industrial design concepts

2026-08-28

Added a public concepts page that compares thirteen exploratory material directions across Slate, Lozenge, Tile, and Pebble forms. The gallery keeps explanatory copy quiet so the concepts remain the focus.

Coming-soon landing page

2026-08-28

Promoted the Horizon direction to the public landing page: a Shadcn coming-soon badge above the W Transmission motion study, followed immediately by the standalone Walkie One wordmark and brand line. Removed the internal concept selector from the customer-facing page.

Native block pass

2026-08-27
