# WALKIE ONE v12.3 — Assembly Guide

## Printed pieces

The device uses eight printed pieces: front shell, back shell, front action button, PTT button, volume-up button, volume-down button, status lens, and front-switch clamp. The ninth export is a process/tolerance coupon and is not installed. The USB-C reaction bridge is integral to the back shell.

## Assembly order

1. Print the tolerance coupon first. Verify the Ø1.4/1.8/2.2 mm grille holes, 1.0 mm grille web, lens fits, moving slots, and flex ribs using the intended machine and material.
2. Print and deburr the eight device pieces. Clear loose strings from the grille without drilling or enlarging the modeled holes until the coupon shows compensation is required.
3. Fit the translucent status lens from the exterior and confirm retention without cracking it.
4. Load the blue front cap, red PTT cap, and both yellow volume caps from the exterior. Confirm their captive features are inside and each cap returns freely.
5. Install the speaker gasket or acoustic foam in its annular seat, then snap the speaker into the upper retainer facing the halftone-W grille.
6. Install the microphone gasket/mesh and snap in the microphone breakout with its acoustic axis aligned to the front port.
7. Install the LED in its guide and flange hooks, aligned to the status lens.
8. Place the B3F-4000 front switch in its four-sided pocket with its actuator facing the blue cap. Install the separate clamp at the two M2 locations.
9. Place the three B3F-3150 switches in the front halves of their split cages. The PTT actuator points outward toward the red cap; both volume actuators point outward toward the yellow caps.
10. Seat the PCB in its lower edge channels and front ledges. Its USB-C connector enters the aligned local recess without touching the wall.
11. Load flexible leads into the open-ended 5.30 mm channel and under all six retaining tabs, clear of screws, seams, button travel, the battery, and USB bridge.
12. Fit the LTE antenna into the back-shell frame and route its coax through the open gate.
13. Install nonabrasive battery pads and place the battery in the upper cradle with its lead at the relieved side.
14. Bring the back shell straight onto the front. The USB-C bridge descends behind the connector shell while closure completes PCB clips, battery pads, antenna capture, and side-switch cage roofs. Stop if the shell resists.
15. Install the four enclosure screws in an alternating pattern. Confirm a continuous guarded seam before final tightening.

## Closure checks

- No component rocks or translates after closure.
- All four buttons return and actuate before their hard stops.
- A standard USB-C plug seats fully without its overmold bottoming on the case.
- No cable crosses a screw boss, seam, moving control, sharp edge, or the USB bridge.
- The battery has broad nonabrasive support with no point load.
- Speaker and microphone sealing material does not block an opening.
