WALKIE ONE — R3.4 — PRINT THIS
P1S / 0.4 mm nozzle / PLA fit prototype
Frozen R3.4 geometry, based on R3.3. Prepared 14 September 2026.

USE THESE FILES
Open the four .3mf projects in 01_Bambu_Studio_PLA, one at a time,
as projects in Bambu Studio. Print each plate once, at 100% scale:

01 Button Fit First 9 parts
02 Front and Rear Shells 2 parts
03 Internal Retainers 9 parts
04 Grille Bezel 1 part
                         -------
                         21 rigid PLA parts total

The models are already oriented and arranged. The projects include a P1S
0.4 mm profile, 0.12 mm layers, 4 walls, 25% infill and automatic supports.
Select your actual PLA filament and build-plate type, click Slice Plate,
review the layer/support preview, then print. Supports need removal.
The supplied profile uses a 55 C textured-PEI bed. Bambu Studio reports
its PLA bed-temperature warning: follow its guidance to keep the front
door open, or use the appropriate bed setting for your actual filament.
These are editable Bambu Studio projects; they are not pre-sliced G-code.
Print the small button-fit plate first if you want to check switch fit
before committing to the full shell print.

02_Individual_STL_PLA contains the same 21 parts as backup for another
slicer. Units: millimetres. Do NOT print both these STLs and the projects,
or you will make duplicate parts. Print ONE of every part ID.

SEPARATE OPTIONAL ITEMS
03_Optional_Optical_Fit_PLA: a fifth project and two STLs for the lens and
light-guide fit pieces. Opaque PLA checks fit only, not illumination.
Print the project OR its two STLs if you want these physical fit gauges.

04_Flexible_Material_ONLY: two STLs, the rim (F01) and talk grip (F02).
Use an appropriate flexible material/process and its own slicer profile.
Do not use the PLA projects for these. Rigid PLA does not reproduce their
flex or intended assembly behavior.

ASSEMBLY
Keep this complete R3.4 set separate from 28.2-P1 and earlier revisions.
Do not add the former 0.4 mm switch-seat shims or paired 0.1 mm stop shims;
those features are now built into their printed parent parts.

Mesh, acoustic material, pads, films, screws, switches and electronics
are purchased parts and are not in this printing folder. The grille
bezel is printed; the woven grille itself is purchased mesh.

Dry-fit before tightening. Check switch seating, free button return at
both ends, screw-tip clearance and cable clearance. The switch models
still use nominal supplier dimensions; physical assembly is the next
fit test. This is a prototype set, not a production/tooling release.

The R3.4 structural-wall screen met the 1 mm target. All 25 source STLs
were verified as single closed watertight meshes; this does not replace
physical fit or print-quality checks.

SLICER CHECK
All five projects were test-sliced in Bambu Studio 2.7.1.62: every part
was included, inside the plate, with zero mesh-repair counters.
Approximate time and PLA use from the supplied profile:
01 Button Fit First: 0h 49m, 5.5 g
02 Front and Rear Shells: 6h 24m, 72.6 g
03 Internal Retainers: 0h 48m, 5.5 g
04 Grille Bezel: 0h 12m, 0.8 g
05 Optional Optical Fit ONLY: 0h 10m, 0.3 g
Times and material use change with filament, plate and support settings.
