# Walkie One 28.2 - Bambu P1S / 0.4 mm / PLA

Start with Bambu_Studio_Projects/01_Button_Fit_First_P1S_04_PLA.3mf. Unzip the entire set and open as a project, not geometry-only. This is the complete current 28.2 print set; do not add old R3.1 or 28.1 replacement parts.

## Printer setup

Confirm Bambu Lab P1S, 0.4 mm nozzle, your actual PLA preset and spool/AMS slot, and the installed build plate. The starting profile uses Generic PLA and Textured PEI. Keep scale 100%, units millimeters and supplied orientations. Shell outer faces are down, interiors up. Slice plate and inspect Preview before printing.

0.12 mm layers; 0.16 mm first layer; Arachne walls; four wall loops; five top/bottom layers; 25% gyroid; 40 mm/s outer wall; 3 mm brim; snug supports including on-part starts; 0.16 mm support Z gap. Projects contain no G-code. They were independently sliced offline in Bambu Studio 2.7.1.62.

## Plates - one set

| Plate | Pieces | Estimated time | PLA |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| 01_Button_Fit_First | 10 | 0 h 52 min | 5.20 g |
| 02_Shells | 2 | 6 h 35 min | 74.29 g |
| 03_Internal_Retainers | 6 | 0 h 25 min | 2.66 g |
| 04_Cosmetic_Proxies | 4 | 0 h 15 min | 1.68 g |
| 05_Optical_Fit_Only | 2 | 0 h 10 min | 0.29 g |

Estimates include supports/brims and may differ from actual prints. Print Plate 01 first and trial real switches. Plates 01-03 include 18 mechanical parts; 04 has four optional cosmetic proxies; 05 has two opaque optical fit gauges. F01/F02 are separate flexible-only STL files, excluded from these PLA projects.

## First-fit checks

- Inspect the 0.40 mm cradle lips: each is represented in the sliced toolpaths, but is delicate. Reject broken or missing lips.
- Remove support carefully from guide bores, shell edges, button passages, screw pilots and LED features. Do not remove functional ribs or registration details as support.
- Trial P17 lower and P18 upper PTT guide caps in their correct stations. Nominal running clearance is not a printer accuracy guarantee; record any required CAD corrections.
- Verify guide relief and no-force shell closure. The local guide is nominally 0.99 mm wide with 0.20 mm support clearance; physical strength/tolerance remains open.
- Trial real switch heights, electrical make/release and return before gluing caps. Validate the upper terminal form on the purchased switch.
- Use the 20-screw list and full sequence in Documentation/Assembly_and_Nonprinted_Parts.md. Validate pilot/tap method and actual screw dimensions on a spare.

Shims, pads, seals, films and grille mesh are sourced/cut stock, not PLA. F01/F02 require a flexible process; L01/L02 are dry-fit geometry only. The 95 reference STEP groups include soft parts and must not be loaded as one print job. Use Documentation/Part_Index.md to identify printable files and the current material/part schedule for the rest.

No printer job was submitted, and physical fit, electrical/RF/acoustic/optical behavior and production materials remain unqualified.
