# Final fixture corrections

These changes supplement `FINAL_INTEGRATION_MANIFEST.json`. Apply `FINAL_CORRECTION_MANIFEST.json` after the final J9 operations. It lists exact reference removals and new stock, route, mask and coupon files. The earlier frozen wire/shell masks are unchanged.

## Coax retention: FEP bond not credited

The manufacturer's original FXUB63.07.0150C [drawing, revision A, page13](https://www.mouser.com/ds/2/398/FXUB63.07.0150C-368726.pdf) identifies the coax material as FEP. Taoglas also publishes FEP jackets for its [1.37mm microcoax](https://www.taoglas.com/specifications/1.37_Micro_Coax_DoubleShielding_001221_Taoglas.pdf). That separate cable specification does not establish the exact received cable's bend radius; different Taoglas 1.37 mm specifications have different bend limits. The route's R5 remains an engineering assumption pending confirmation of the supplied assembly.

The [DOWSIL3145 data sheet](https://www.dow.com/documents/11/11-1832-01-dowsil-3145-rtv-mil-a-46146-adhesive-gray.pdf?iframe=true) warns against expecting adhesion on nonreactive plastics such as Teflon. The two RTV tack candidates are therefore **withdrawn from the selected assembly**, not described as a qualified grip. No chemical adhesion to the factory FEP jacket is credited, and no surface abrasion or treatment is assumed.

Selected retention uses two 4 mm-wide formed polyester straps at Y−37…−33 and−22…−18. Their feet follow the existing inner curved wall and bond only to printed lands; they press the cable into a nonadhesive silicone half-saddle. The 0.40 mm installed radial saddle fills the rear clearance beneath the cable. Free silicone thickness 0.45 mm is a coupon starting point, not a measured compression specification. Candidate [3M1350F-1](https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b00034583/) tape is 0.064 mm nominal, within the modeled 0.10 mm installed envelope. Print-land adhesion, controlled preload and axial friction remain test requirements. Do not tighten until the coax flattens or use a failed adhesive grip as proof of retention.

QF05 reproduces the actual curved shell lands/channel. Test the intended printed finish, tape and silicone with the actual cable construction. After adhesive dwell and intended thermal conditioning, apply the defined 5 N service screen to a sacrificial sample; reject slip, tape peel, crushing, kinking, insulation damage or electrical/impedance change. No load may reach the antenna feed or RF plug in the installed device. A coupon failure requires retention revision before release.

## J8 shared-wire corner

The final J9 pin 4 clearance sweep would leave a 0.65 mm rear lip at the lower corner of the J8 saddle. A bounded rear-open cut removes that lip after the J9 sweep; the saddle remains a single connected solid. Its 3.3 mm-wide main root remains. The replacement strap wraps onto the new vertical end face, retaining 26.3175 mm² nominal print-land contact:6.93 mm² lower horizontal, 10.89 mm² upper horizontal and 8.4975 mm² vertical. Previous flat-land total was 24.09 mm².

The corrected saddle clears pin 4 by 0.5081 mm; the formed strap clears it by 0.3711 mm. QF04B replaces QF04 for shared-wire pull/dressing tests. The older strap is explicitly removed, not stacked under the new one.

## Speaker bypass and insulation

The shortened factory speaker lead 2 locally passes behind the final PTT wiring at Z−8.9. Its assumed factory start and fixed splice endpoint remain unchanged, and the routed centerline is 45.716 mm with R3 bends. The actual factory exit is still a sample-inspection datum. Reserve at least 5 mm additional termination allowance before shortening the speaker cable. No battery factory cable is altered.

Splice 1 retains its complete Ø3.2 × 8 mm insulation envelope and shifts 0.30 mm forward; this improves the previous 0.148 mm PTT signal gap without cutting insulation coverage. Both wire entries remain enclosed. The additional 0.4 mm shell-relief masks are local and preserve the earlier routes/clearances.

## Final battery-keeper wire-port sections

Read-only check applied the fixture wire masks to the latest P19/P20 from the battery manifest. Both remain valid single solids. P19 loses 0.00223 mm³; P20 loses 0.04410 mm³. The left inboard spine remains fully present at 4.0 × 2.3 × 3.0 mm; the right spine remains 2.5 × 7.0 × 3.0 mm. The factory-wire notch affects only P20's free port corner at X30.349…31.2, Y42.711…43.

The CK clearance trims at most 0.05083 mm from the upper anchor neck's low-Y edge, at|X|31.897…32.512. It does not reach the screw bore or the main port spines. Treating the entire deep neck conservatively as 4.549 mm wide instead of 4.6 raises the 5 N gross-section screen from 6.90 to approximately 6.98 MPa; the other original transition/plate screens remain unchanged. These use hypothetical E = 1000 MPa/allowable 8 MPa and exclude notch stresses, anisotropy, creep and tightening. Physical keeper/pilot coupons and service cycles remain required.

## Inward battery-lead risers and preserved exterior

The final paired factory-lead risers move 2.3 mm inward to clear the original curved front exterior. Both modeled centerlines remain 100 mm and keep their factory-tab start and plug endpoints. The pair retains 0.20 mm nominal separation. These CAD lengths remain assumptions to check against the received intact battery; they do not authorize cutting or extending its leads.

The new channel faces in original shell stock have minimum distances of 1.74808 mm and 0.999932 mm to the original exterior. They intersect neither the previously breached patch nor the classified original outer faces. Complete final exterior verification belongs to the rebuilt assembly; these local measurements do not replace it. The approximately 1 mm curved skin still needs process and handling qualification.

The matched P20 relief removes 2.11862 mm³ at its free port corner. The 2.5 × 7 × 3 mm inboard spine and both screw-anchor necks remain intact. The lowest rounded scoop leaves about 1.336 mm of local rear stock; inspect that free edge during handling and service tests. Support the keeper while removing print supports and feed the wire gently through the open port; do not lever on the rounded shelf. The earlier 0.04410 mm³ P20 figure describes the prior routing and is superseded for this final local cut.

See the [replacement route and mask ledger](../Verification/fixtures/BATTERY_RISER_FINAL_MANIFEST.json). The old factory-wire masks are omitted during rebuild; no exterior patch is restored by adding material over a wire.
