# Walkie One 28.6 - Simplified assembly

September 19, 2026 supplied Fusion snapshot. Published as an upcoming experimental prototype after owner acceptance of the simpler direction. This is a documentation/export release, not a geometry repair or physical qualification. Golden remains 28.1 / R3.4.

## Start here
Read the illustrated handoff PDF, Parts_and_Materials.csv and Open_Fit_Register.csv together. Use the original F3D as the editable source and the dated native-position STEP/STL derivatives for review. Units are millimetres; import at 100%. Verify the 80 x 150 x 24 mm bare shell before slicing. A full reference STEP is not a printable assembly. It contains the 367 visible solids; the 48 hidden hardware/wiring solids remain in the original F3D.

13 CAD bodies are preserved, not a released 13-part procurement BOM. The front shell contains two overlapping bodies; the original optical STL contains two separate solids. The shell/frame integration and material choices must be resolved before a final shop order.

## Files
- Original_Source: exact supplied F3D and 11 STL files. Original filenames retained.
- CAD/Individual_STEP and CAD/Native_Position_STL: 13 individual native-position derivatives.
- CAD: 13-body review STEP, full-reference STEP, source mapping and export verification.
- Documents: illustrated guide, parts/materials, reference inventory, assembly, hardware/wiring review, fit register and blank physical test log.
- Images: actual CAD exterior, rear, interior and exploded views. Spacing and colours are illustrative.
- Evidence: native inventory and exact static solid-intersection results.
- SHA256SUMS.txt: integrity record for every packaged file except itself.

The original Plus, Minus, Talk and both optical solids are about +5 mm in Y in the supplied STL coordinates. New derivatives use Fusion assembly positions, without changing shape. Do not mix raw mesh origins with native assembly exports.

The public number 28.6 identifies this September 19 snapshot. Its original native filename retains 28_1_R3_6; it is not the previously published 28.4 R3.6 or 28.5 R3.7 connected design.
