# Walkie One 28.7 - Updated simplified assembly

September 20, 2026 snapshot, following 28.6. Published as an upcoming prototype at the owner's request. This release documents and exports the supplied design; it does not repair geometry or qualify a physical build. Golden remains 28.1 / R3.4.

## File authority
Use the original Fusion as the editable source and the new native-position STEP/STL set for this prototype review. Import in millimetres at 100%; bare shell is 80 x 150 x 24 mm. The original internal filename still says 28_1_R3_6. Public 28.7 identifies this dated snapshot, not a different filename inside Fusion.

IMPORTANT: the supplied rear-shell STL is byte-for-byte unchanged from September 19, but the native rear-shell geometry has changed. Use CAD/Native_Position_STL/07_Rear_Shell.stl or its STEP counterpart for the updated shape. The supplied Plus, Minus, Talk and both optical solids remain approximately +5 mm in Y relative to Fusion; regenerated derivatives use native positions.

13 CAD bodies are preserved across 11 supplied STL files. This is not a released 13-part procurement BOM: front-shell Body1 and Body2 overlap and require an integral/separate manufacturing decision. The two optical bodies remain separate.

## Package
- Original_Source: exact supplied F3D and 11 original STL files, retained for traceability.
- CAD: 13-body review STEP, 414-visible-solid reference STEP, individual STEP/STL, GLB, source mapping and validation.
- Documents: illustrated guide, change register, parts/material proposals, reference inventory, assembly/wiring review and blank physical test log.
- Images and Video: actual CAD views and a silent captioned overview; display colours and exploded spacing are illustrative.
- Evidence: native inventory, exact-solid intersection checks, source hash comparison, native geometry differences and raw mesh comparison.
- SHA256SUMS.txt: hashes of all packaged files except itself.

The reference STEP excludes one hidden wire body (All wiring:1 / Body1), retained in original Fusion. Assembled/inside viewer modes include the visible hardware and wiring. Exploded mode hides those groups for clarity. Non-solid PCB reference sheets are omitted from the viewer.
