# Rapid Product Solutions scope reference

Rapid advertises SLS/SLA/FDM, urethane and silicone casting, plastic/metal CNC, cosmetic models, custom painting, pad printing/transfers, inserts and assemblies with client-supplied hardware/electronics. Its published materials include RPS Nylon PA and RPS Elastomer polyurethane at 40 +/-5 Shore A. The linked material sheets are dated 2019; confirm the current grade, availability and process on the quote.

For this project, request fabrication, finish samples, inspection and optional assembly. Exact PA12 grades, silicone formulations, thin-wall steel, micron-scale guide fits, specialty grille cutting, PVD/Cerakote, FR4 carrier work and test services need a project-specific response. MJF and LSR processing are not established by the pages reviewed. Unlisted does not mean unavailable: ask Rapid to state direct capability, partner route or exclusion.

Walkie One supplies and approves electronics, pinouts, firmware, batteries, harnesses and RF/acoustic validation. Do not assume Rapid supplies electrical design or certification because it assembles client electronics. Injection molding is offered through partner factories in China/Taiwan; tooling is a later, separately quoted decision. QuickCast patterns do not establish that finished investment-cast steel shells are included. No ISO/AS certification is assumed: the quality page still describes implementation in progress.
